Noesis

Calls sent to Noesis are recorded for 30 days unless you opt out. Uploads to the other APIs are stored for 30 days unless you opt out. How to opt out and how data is deleted.

Noesis calls are recorded

Live calls and recorded calls you send to Noesis are recorded: the call audio and its transcript are kept for 30 days, then deleted.

To not record a call, opt out for that call:

How you connect How to opt out
WebSocket URL Add record=false to the query string
Stream token Create the token with {"record": false}
Twilio <Stream> Add <Parameter name="record" value="false"/>, or create the token with {"record": false}
POST /v1/detect/file Send the form field record=false
MCP analyze_call_recording Pass record: false

A call that is not recorded is still analysed, and its answers are kept in its session.

If you record calls, you may need to tell the people on the call. Follow the rules that apply where you and they are.

Uploads to the other APIs are stored

Files you upload to the deepfake and speaker APIs (through the REST API, the dashboard or MCP) are stored for 30 days, then deleted. To not store a file, send store_audio=false with the request (in MCP, the store_audio argument).

Files that are refused, for example because they are corrupt, in an unsupported format or too large, are not kept.

Where it is kept and who can open it

  • Stored audio and transcripts are private to your account. They are never public.
  • DetectifAI staff can open a stored file only through a short-lived link, and every such access is logged.

Deleting data

  • Deleting your account deletes its stored audio, call recordings and transcripts.
  • Deleting a speaker deletes its voice profile and the stored recordings used to enroll it.
  • Everything else is deleted automatically after 30 days.
